About

Professor Roberto Moniz, an expert in cordofone instruments, who teaches at the music conservatory in Funchal, performed and lectured on traditional Madeiran music and instruments at locations around the San Francisco Bay Area in early May.  He has his Masters in Teaching Music Education and in Basic Education Madeira Island, Portugal and currently is a professor at the Conservatório Escola das Artes da Madeira.
